Students and staff celebrate another strong year of GCSE results

Students and staff at Cressex Community School are celebrating another year of very strong results. Over 60% of students gained 5 passes at grade 4 and above, including English and maths. The highest percentage ever of exams were passed at the top grades, and a new record percentage, over 99%, achieved 5 or more passes in any subject. Headteacher David Hood commented: “we are delighted with the success of our students, in terms both of their attainment and their progress. Many congratulations to the students on the fruits of their efforts, and my sincere thanks to the hard-working staff of the school and parents for their support.”

Students deserving particular mention for their achievement are: Hifsa Adnan, Faizan Ali Khan, Hatib Alyas, Faiza Asim, Israa Ayub, Alisha Barsal, Aaliyah Charles, Maryam Choudhery, Alexandru-Eugen Coardos, Raouia El Majdoubi, Iqra Hussain, Zahra Hussain, Zara Hussain, Rida Idrees, Nicu Isachi, Akib Khaliq, Zoyah Khan, Urooj Mahmood, Aqib Nawaz, Sarune Oganauskaite, Samuel Park, Noemi Prieto-Garcia, Abdul Qureshi, Umara Ramzan, Mirusha Thillainathan and Courtney Williams.
