A Co-operative School

Cressex Community School is proud to be a Co-operative Trust School and a member of the Schools Cooperative Society. We were the first co-operative school in Buckinghamshire and are part of a family of schools that now numbers about 850 across the Country.

The purpose of the Trust is to support the school in raising educational attainment and widening opportunities for Cressex students.

Examples of Trust activities include: the annual summer school held at Wycombe Abbey School; higher education “taster” events held at Buckinghamshire New University; input on “democracy in action” from the Cooperative Movement; support for transition to post 16 studies provided by The Henley College.
