Developing Critical Thinkers: Inside the KS3 Science Club

Science Club has been buzzing with curiosity and creativity this term!

Each Wednesday after school, students have been diving into hands-on experiments exploring speed, tackling tower-building engineering challenges, testing colourful flames in chemistry investigations, constructing electrical circuits, and racing their own balloon-powered cars.

These activities not only spark excitement, but also help students develop strong critical-thinking skills as they predict, test, and refine their ideas. Throughout each session, pupils practise essential science-safety routines, build confidence by experimenting independently, and strengthen their teamwork as they collaborate to solve problems and refine their designs.

The club continues to be a fantastic space for KS3 students to learn, experiment, and grow together.''
