The Local Authority coordinates admissions on our behalf. Therefore, completed forms should be sent to the Admissions Team at Buckinghamshire County Council, NOT to the school.

Cressex Community School is a Foundation School. This means that we are required to consult on our Admission Arrangements every seven years. As such, we are now (November 2017) required to inform you that the Governing Board of Cressex Community School has reviewed its Admissions Policy with regard to pupils being admitted to the school in September 2019, and in the years thereafter. The Governors are not proposing to make any changes to the existing policy and, consequently, the Admission Arrangements for the school. Their decision is subject to a period of formal consultation, which commences on Monday 20 November 2017 and concludes on Tuesday 16 January 2018.

A copy of the draft Admissions Policy for Cressex Community School is available below and a paper copy can be obtained from Mrs F Carter, at the school.

If you wish to comment on the proposed Admission Arrangements please send your response in writing for the attention of Mrs F Carter, either by post (to the school address) or email to . Comments should be received by no later than 4pm on Tuesday 16 January 2018.

The Governors will consider responses to the consultation and will publish the final version of the Admissions Policy shortly thereafter.

Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you require further information.

In the meantime, Buckinghamshire County Council’s ‘Moving up to secondary school' page on its website provides extensive information about how to apply for secondary school including school catchment areas, online applications and key dates.

In addition, we are pleased to provide a pdf map of the Cressex Community School catchment area for you to download.

If you are interested in making an application for your child to join Cressex Community School, you are, of course, very welcome to visit the school. Please contact the school on 01494 437729 and ask to arrange a tour. We would be very pleased to see you.
